The Taberna Iter Vitis or Tavern of the Wine Roads is located inside Palazzo Panitteri. The halls of the Tavern are in the basement of this monumental building constructed in the XVIIth century. They include the wine shop with a collection of vintage wines and the kitchen, and they are furnished with tables and colored chairs that contrast the yellow tufa lining the walls and the arches that frame the halls. The Tavern was born for the promotion of the food and wine products of the territory and it has become a reference point for cultural and touristic events. Eventually, a Domus Iter Vitis, a house where tourists and wine lovers can discover and participate in the activities organized by the municipality, has been created next to the Tavern. On the upper area of the Palace there is the Archeological Museum where the precious finds from the Greco-Punic settlement on Mount Adranone are kept. As one can understand, Palazzo Panitteri offers the possibility to discover the various identities of the territory.
